Fabulous!! As always! I use an old old onion cutting trick that my Grandmother taught me - keep a box of wooden kitchen matches in the kitchen drawer and put one in your mouth with the sulfur tip facing out. The sulphur absorbs the onion vapors! ❤to your channel!

Save that water you used to reduce the garlic's sharpness & once it cools place the water in a spay bottle to spritz on your plants in the garden to rid spritz on orchids roots to give them a boost of nutrition. 😊

A coke float does not need any ice cubes. It will just water it down. Coke plus ice cream, that's it!

I’d leave the ice out of the ice cream float.

So many great ideas. I really like the one with the muffin tin and tea light candles. Good when you've lost power and need to heat some food.

That first tip about adding a bit of water to my fried eggs is pure genius. Thank you.

🌀 I must admit, your power outage ideas have come just at the right time. I am in Florida with hurricane Debbie about to visit us.

I stick my onions in the freezer 15 minutes before I slice to prevent tears. I don't recommend doing this unless you're going to chop or slice onions right away & cook them in the same day otherwise they get a limp & soggy !! If I want to slice my bacon in cubes, I stick bacon in freezer for 15 minutes and then slice bacon into cubes. This makes it easier to control the bacon while slicing.

My dad used to make ice cream floats. They were pretty good.
A non-food idea when it's really hot and if you don't have A/C .... in an open window, place a fan (box fans work the best) and face it OUTWARDS. It will suck out the hot air inside to the outside, and help lower the temperature and even some of the humidity. We have had a broken A/C all through the summer so far and we've been doing this and with the exception of a couple of really really bad days, it has helped immensely. A dehumidifier also helps (lessening the humidity will help it feel cooler) .... also, a wet cloth/rag draped around your neck, wet it when it dries .... helps keep you a bit cooler (and a small fan keeping air moving will help this too).

Smashing the garlic and letting it sit for a few minutes before you use it, let’s it come to its strongest point for the benefits of garlic .
