Did You Know in THE NOTEBOOK…

The movie almost didn't happen because the stars didn't get along. The Notebook is one of the most romantic movies ever made, but it could easily have been a disaster.According to director Nick Cassavetes, the two leads did not get along at first. In fact, Gosling tried to have McAdams replaced before filming began! But their relationship soon improved, thanks to an intervention staged by Cassavetes himself. He brought them into a room where they could air all the grievances they had with each other and work something out. They soon patched over their differences—enough to become a real-life couple for some time.

Did you know Mean Girls and The Notebook was filmed at the same year. Mean Girls premiered earlier than The Notebook. It could easily mean that Rachel might have still been in character of Regina when they where filming for The Notebook, making her look like a real mean lady. It's actually hard for some actors/actresses to get off their prior character when hopping to another character which is polar opposite to their prior character. I think that's what happened to the two of them.

This movie was romantic, fiery, and passionate. The love was so strong that it endured years apart only to pick up where they left off as if nothing ever happened. Their love so powerful and true allowed them to spend their very last moments with each other. Ugh. If only this gained to all of us. Two of my other favorite romantic live stories are PS I Love You and Sweet November.
