The game that made Anish Giri win the Tata Steel Masters 2023

It was Anish Giri vs Richard Rapport in the final round of the Tata Steel Masters 2023. Anish Giri was trailing Nodirbek Abdusattorov by half a point. Anish played Rapport and Nodirbek was up against Jorden van Foreest.

Anish played an excellent game to beat Richard Rapport, while Nodirbek slumped to a defeat against Jorden van Foreest. This meant that Anish became the champion of the event by half a point margin! This is definitely Anish's biggest victory of his chess career.
