What about Alberta's oil? It's on land and spills have less effect as compared to water. Liberals and NDP will put a tax on Alberta oil. Expect another National Energy Program from the Feds (now Lib/NDP). Building refineries in Canada would help too.

So a few years back the Norwegian government announced it’s sovereign fund would divest all investment in Alberta oil sands. Of course Trudeau had nothing negative to say about that in fact gave the appearance of support for the move. A few months later Norway announces a 20% increase in its oil production. Leap forward a couple of years and a Norwegian oil company will be drilling for oil in Canada. We are a laughing stock in the world. We have been played by the freaking Norwegians. We are giving away our market share of oil to Norway. Why?
