That low B really cuts through the mix.

Im pretty sure Marlowe can jam with the B. He's playing the same lick in all the sandberg demo's to give a good comparison for us.

of course you're right, but on those video with 5 string basses, even with the same lick, he could easily play the B string to let us ear the full tone of the bass guitar.

Oh good, he didn't use the B string. I was really worried he might play something that would justify me watching this video

This Basic VM model 5 string has 5 knobs instead of 4. This could confuse us about the product.

I hope Sandberg has improved the electronics. My California 5 string buzzes like hell if I use the toggle switch and nobody can fix it. Very unhappy. Otherwise a nice bass but this should not happen. I use my Stingray 5 most of the time just because of this.

Not too crazy about the pickup combination/placement on this bass. Don't misunderstand; I'm not saying the bass sounds bad. All the tones are actually very fat sounding, just not my thing. But if Sandberg wants to give me one of these free of charge I could probably get used to it...:-)
