Very informed interview with an actual Iranian not a Neo-Con angling for war. Please bring Trita on more often.

Any who haven't read about Kristol's PNAC, need to.

I think one thing where I disagree with Sam and Michael is the idea that standing with terrible people in order to oppose Trump is not acceptable. I get the idea and I certainly don't think we need to absolve neoconservatives of being terrible but I do think that using people across the political spectrum can be important. I use the example of Roosevelt and Stalin. Working with Stalin was unappealing and meant that you could not stick with total moral purity. But sometimes there is a common enemy that requires more immediate attention. It doesn't mean you have to ignore the past or ignore the fact that you really aren't allies. But there are ways that working with terrible people can be necessary.
I'm not exactly sure how that translates with conservatives. But if working with some conservatives can help peel off support for Trump then I'm all for it. I'm sorry Sam and Michael but Trump is worse than other republicans. He just is. And it's not just that he is more rude or more gross. He undermines our system of balanced powers and world stability like no one else. I'd much rather we get him out of office and deal with Mike Pence (even if Pence ends up proving more effective at legislating than Trump.) It doesn't mean Pence is a good guy at all. He is just far less likely to collapse our system of government or actually start WWIII.

Not all of them are bad. Some of them voted with us for Hillary in 2016. #Hillary2020
