All organs and soft tissue evaporate during the cremation process. My dad was cremated. Can't believe his whole life is in a tiny little box. Love you dad.

My son was murdered 3 weeks ago by a so called best friend to remember him standing in my front room 3 weeks ago to getting him in a box was something to take in. Had me mad at myself for a moment. It’s not cremation I’m mad at it’s his death. I’m glad I can still have him with me wherever I choose to go.

One thing I learned recently.. those ashes don't magically wind up being tiny uniform flakes. They stuff the big lumps of torched remains into a thing similar to a big coffee grinder! EEK!

Thanks for this information as I cremated my brother last Monday 14/06/21 and ive ordered a cremation ash crucifix keepsake necklace from Amazon and also a tree of life keepsake necklace for my mum as she is in a care home receiving end of life treatment and not far away from death herself. It was interesting to know how I will receive the ashes and how they will look. Our funeral director has kindly offered to transfer some of brothers ashes into my keepsake necklace for me as they look quite large particles. Thanks again for this very informative video. 👍

Wow I liked this. So informational. I really liked the first option with the box that looks like a peaceful forest 🌳. I’m starting to see cremation as something beautiful. It’s affordable. You can still have a funeral and a celebration afterwards. And I was born naked and I would return to dust naked and free.

Yes had my husband cremated despite me personally not wanting to do it but it was his wishes. When I picked his cremains up from the funeral director, firstly I was surprised how heavy the box was, secondly I buckled the box into the passengers seat and thirdly, out of curiosity, when I got him home I looked at the cremains and tbh they look more like kitty litter than anything like ashes...just sayin' :) I kept him in the container he was returned in, but purchased a nice box for them to go in - I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any of him transferring him :/

If anyone is uncertain about what happens at a crematorium please may I suggest watch the process on YouTube and everything you need to no or maybe curious about will answer your questions, however be prepared for some unpleasant scenes but remember the deceased is exactly that DECEASED the living feel the pain, sadness and all associated thoughts and feelings for the deceased, also remember that the staff at the crematorium are human to and not numb to the process especially when babies, infants and young children and adults are in their care for the duration of the cremation process.

We collected my dad's ashes today, and I wish I had watched this video before, as it was just as told and it was quite a shock (hence looking for a video to see if my experience was normal). I had no idea there would be so much ash, and that green container was full and so heavy! My daughter was very upset, but I reminded her that it was just his shell and his spirit is very much alive - also she had him for 30 years, me 50 and our mum 59 years and some people do not get a loved one for that long so we were blessed. Also, he had an amazing life and at 86, went in his sleep with no warning so couldn't have asked for a better way to go. One thing the ashes have reminded me of is dad never ever stressed or worried and was always super chilled, so now I know how I will end up (ashes) I intend to do the same.

I've had a request by a friend to make her urn, so this information has been incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for this extensive information!

Very nice video… supposedly it is illegal to scatted ashes on public property without written permission. I live in the USA, one of my friend asked to be scattered over the Blarney Castle… I kept them and a friend went their on Holiday and he did sprinkle my friends remains over the side of the Castles roof.I believe everyone is entitled to have their wishes as long as they don’t hurt anyone…..

A rose bush, something beautiful that reflects life produces beautiful flowers each year as a memory of you or yr loved one.. a grave or a headstone feels depressing...

My mom and dad's ashes were white crushed bones, not like fine ashes. Probably the way they were cremated in florida.

I got a few beautiful urns from Amazon when my mom passed. Was able to split up the ashes for my grandma and sisters.
