The $45, 000 of two years ago buys about 20% less today, so Bitcoin at $44, 000 today is worth 80% of a bitcoin two years ago. It would have to get to $50, 000 to be equivalent. Bitcoin may or may not be inflation immune, but the dollar that it gets quoted in is not immune to inflation. Still a bargain below $45k, Get it while it's hot. If you missed the 2017, 2021 bull run.

My buddy bought two call options for $2800 a piece a few days before GameStop blew up. He sold them for $248, 000 each 3 days later. Then I tested my luck with options… made about $12k the first week then proceeded to lose $35k when the war broke out and was left with $800. Now I’m back to trading stocks and sitting at around $5, 000.

I’m ready to try options again but with a different approach.

Ive tried buying calls with higher delta, low theta, high volume, an up trend, not over bought, increasing IV and ran through a calculator saying its a good trade (high probability) no news or bad press and almost on que when I enter the trade it turns on a dime heading south. So I guess I should stay with selling puts. I do agree that slow and steady compounding is the way to go.

So you can sell a call without owning 100 shares of the stock? Isn't that the same as shorting???? Please explain more. I know you can sell calls but ONLY when you already own 100 shares of that stock.
