I thought the product was from japan and was immediately confused because I heard they have strict packaging laws requiring the food printed on the package to look like the actual food inside... I had to rewatch to see that it was Chinese

I have the curry fishball version and for something instant, I think it salvates cravings. I mean it's hard to make an instant batter for takoyaki since they're so fragile especially if you package them like this.

Honestly just buy the frozen stuff at your asian grocery store and throw them in the air fryer/oven, some small restaurants in my area even use frozen takoyaki and it'll taste fine (ofc gotta get takoyaki sauce and bonito flakes to make it taste nice as)
