I once surprised my long-distance boyfriend by arriving the night before he was expecting me. His parents
knew I was coming. He still lived at home and I was staying there, too. What I didn't know is he was planning to surprise me by having all his family and friends greet me at the airport. He was so disappointed. This was almost 40 years ago! I still miss him!
