The 16 contestants set to enter the Big Brother house for season 26 of the CBS summer reality staple have been revealed. And that may not be all of them.

A video clerk, a former undercover cop, a celebrity chef, a VIP cocktail server, and a crochet business owner are among the players who will be saying goodbye to their sanity when the show premieres July 17. But, for the first time ever, the contestants will have the opportunity to vote in a 17th houseguest — a houseguest whose identity remains a secret. Could it be another new player, or will it be a former reality star, such as last season?
It seems this time the players — or at least one or some of them — will know and decide whether to allow another competitor in their midst. In the meantime, here are the first 16 contestants that will be competing in the artificial intelligence themed season under the watchful eye of the Chenbot. While Rubina doesn’t want to face off against competition beasts, Joseph Rodriguez, Lisa Weintraub, Tucker Des Lauriers, Cam Sullivan-Brown are more wary of the strategic players. “Somebody like a Vanessa Rousso,” Joseph, 30-year-old video store clerk, told Us. “Somebody who is really smart and cunning and also willing to call you out in front of other people and have you struggle to come up with a good answer in the moment.” For Lisa, a 33-year-old celebrity chef, she would not be thrilled to see Big Brother 16 champ Derrick Levasseur. “He had his hands in all of the cookie jars and he did it with kindness but also with really smart gameplay,” she reflected. “I would love to be on his team but I would also not like to go against him.” Tucker, a 30-year-old marketing and sales executive, answered Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling. While Tucker thinks he and the The Traitors season 2 star could be buddies, he knows what Dan can do in the game. Meanwhile, Cam, a 25-old physical therapist, would hate to see a player like Big Brother 23’s Tiffany Mitchell in the game. “She was the mastermind behind it all,” he explained. “She really wasn’t threatening in terms of challenges but she was threatening because she was pulling the strings with the Cookout.” Speaking of pulling strings, the 16 houseguests will get to do just that this season. CBS revealed on Monday that the first twist the players will encounter is the chance to vote in a 17th houseguest during the premiere. Additional details about who that player would be have yet to be announced. For Kenney Kelley, a 52-year-old former undercover cop, he’s not afraid of anyone who would walk in the house since he’s not the kind of person who gets “intimidated” easily. “There’s nobody I’d be threatened by at all,” he said. “I’m a pretty confident person. I’ll be able to get in that house and handle whoever is in there.”

Can we just take a moment and acknowledge that the Veto has not been used FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER THIS SEASON? 😂

This was not the time to not use the veto!!!! She should've backdoored Chelsie.

I still think Makensy should have backdoored Chelsie. She is by far her biggest and really ONLY competition left and the only one who she could (and probably would) lose to sitting in the final 2. She must have 100% faith in Chelsie right now to not take a shot at her next week, when most likely she'll win HOH. At this point, I think Makensy is almost sure to be leaving next week unless she wins POV. However, it will suck having anyone but Makensy and Chelsie in the final 2 since the rest are floaters!

Would be cool if Rubina stays... she wins HOH I would like to see her get to determine her own future. 😊

Morning Ory. Being no one had the nerve to cut Chelsie or MJ during the double or now I'm gonna pray to the BB Gods Rubina wins the upcoming veto and Kimo tells her not to vote out Cam cause the all girls isn't real then I'll be happy again 😂😂😂

McKenzie needs to go next if Chelsie plans on winning. I can see Cam and Rubina pitching for MJ to vote out Chelsie. If Chelsie is on the block she goes home.

Lea and Quinn will vote the same because Quinn is in love with Lea

Chelsie made Leah go, I think Cam needs to go. Make Chelsie stand on her own like she made MJ MJ will get herself to the end.

2 narcissistic girls and 3 slugs. Not much else to see. Rubina & Kimo will reflect later on and realize following TKor direction did nothing for them😢

Disappointed on how much they talk about how popular they will be after and how many DMs they will get.

They’ve acted as though they had to use the veto all season, refreshing to not see them use it. It’s still anybody’s game, especially with this jury.

Players seemed to be concerned more with how famous they would become from being on big brother than actually playing the game. Chelsie had everyone eating her lier sandwiches which would be fine in itself but she’s lying to everyone while promoting how honest she is through her being a pastor. Disgusting to use her relation with Christ so they trust her then to just lie and deceive others. I hope this technique doesn’t work for her to win the money.

It would be something if cam or rubina were to win the whole game without ever winning any comps.
