I did a repower through Gulf to Lake with 140 zuke, and my experience was the same. The motor stopped interfacing with my plotter and they wouldn't set a time to repair that. They modified the harness for the gateway and only taped it together. Once they had my money for the outboard they stopped taking my calls. I had to take my boat to cocoa beach to have another suzuki dealer fix my issues and I had to pay almost $1000 dollars to fix what should have been warranty fixes.

I live in Florida, east coast and have been seeing unbelievable deals on the Epic 22-25 foot carolina flared bay boats a few years old. They look unreal for the price, all of them have 250-300 horse motors and under 300 hours for $28k-$36k. Was about to go that route but got a steal on a Scout 221 with a Honda 225 the other day.

The dealership down the road from me has two for sale for $63k. That's a lot of money not to have great fit and finish. And you figure the same people making a very expensive Black Jack are also making the Frontier. Hope you get everything worked out.

I bought my frontier from the dealership in Mobile, when I put my deposit down that was the end of their customer service. I love my boat but I will never do business with them again.

I had a 2021 model with a 225 Mercury 3.4L V6. I could cruise at 40 and get 4MPG. Top speed was 58. Cool boat for the money bet it’s def not without its flaws. And lastly, their QC has tuned to trash.

Man, I really hate that for you. I know it’s so frustrating when you were so excited for the new boat. This is why always encourage people I know to buy a reputable used boat instead of going for a new Frontier, Nauticstar, Carolina Skiff, etc. For the same money you could have bought a really nice 2-3 year old Key West, Scout, Sea Pro, etc. Hope you get it all sorted out.

They are all stealerships. The broad spectrum of crappy built boats. They don’t mind charging you 80k or however much you paid for that boat.
