@Mecha Gaikotsu : In Turn A the WODOM has an optional external generator it can attach at the back of it's head. That's what the hatch is probably for in the event a real HG WODOM is released.

Someone else may have mentioned it, but the secret compartment on the wodom is more than likely for a combining gimmick that will show up in the final battle of Re rise(The Valkylander ex's head crest also fits on the core gundam.) The final battle version of the kits will most likely have them all in a more uniform color scheme to make them look cooler

your thumbnail reflect how May's feel when you put her on 10th. I'm not agree nor disagree since I'm not touching any hg gunpla aside crossbone, but all I can say is, sometimes if you love something, just go for it, it maybe not perfect in gunpla but it's always perfect in your heart.
