What God Joins Together

In Jesus’ day, divorce was more commonplace than you would have imagined and there was a great debate about when divorce was even allowed. It wasn’t incidental that Jesus had just finished talking about lust when He started to talk about divorce. Lust causes adultery and now shockingly, He is going to say that divorce and remarriage can do the exact same thing. Jesus is going to remind us that God’s ideal is one man and one wife for one life. It should be “’til death do us part.” There are two things that Jesus asks us to do when it comes to the topic of divorce. Let’s dive into those together.

What if you had prayed that God break the bloodline of generational curses. Do you believe that might also have to with why I may not be married?

Sounds like a part two is needed.
People can separate. Which is very sad. It is what it is.
Even if they separate, they're still married. What God has joined no man can separate.
Not lawyers or judges.
Our country doesn't go by that.
Church is to go by that.

People out there who divorce and find a new person. And say. They will just ask for forgiveness afterward. Everything will be fine then. Wow.

Many preachers like to skip over the offensive parts of the Bible.
I call that. Doing the Joel Olsteen.
Everything is

Everyone should get a prenuptial.
Our Government laws in marriage aren't Bibical. Needs to be corrected when when people want to get married. U don't want the Government in your marriage telling u what to do if one should have problems.

God does not bring every “marriage” together. I’d argue most marriages these days have nothing to do with God at all! Even the ones that claim to! It’s a travesty.
