I was 6 years old, playing at the bottom of the stairs at my house, when I saw my morbidly obese aunt slouch to the top of the stairs and step on my Thomas the Tank Engine. Her fat ass flew into the air, bounced off the bannister and instead of rolling down the stairs, actually crashed THROUGH the staircase and dropped into the cupboard below it, hospitalising her for 6 weeks. Total Fire, Skrillex continues to amaze me. No matter what he's trying I always end up loving it. The first time I heard the Recess album I absolutely hated it. Then I listened again and again and again and realized that this man has so much talent and all you need to do to appreciate it is to have an open mind to his creative process. If artists stayed the same for their entire careers we would hate them, evolution of an artists style and creativity is what truly reveals them to us.
