My understanding is that the collision domains in this switch example could only happen under a half duplex environment because they only use a single twisted pair. If it were a full duplex switching environment, two twisted pairs would be used, one for transmitting and one for receiving, thus eliminating collisions altogether.
Is this correct? I would love some feedback, if anyone has anything to add.
