I hope this is the video that finally convinces JBP to invite you on his podcast so he can let you talk for 10 out of the 90 minutes.

Excellent work my man! You truly are making a unique contribution to the “secondary literature” of the online space. If this was a college essay it’s clear that most of what you are providing is actual synthesis and new material and not just parroting or re-stating of other peoples ideas.

I think what’s so satisfying about your work is that you are self-consciously arguing for this emphasis on finding synthesis with radical centrism rather than just repeating other peoples ideas. And, not only that, but your also making that very argument in the form of a synthesis of many different peoples ideas. So the goal, conclusion, and mode of your argument is synthesis. Well done!

Keep up the good work!

This has convinced me to check out Maps Of Meanings. Thank you for explaining Peterson's best ideas and filtering out the wacky stuff.

I think a great example of convergent memetics is how Chinese memes naturally develop into shared images/inside jokes. Remember Chinese social media is the most isolated substantial social media in the world.

There is a Chinese “Cope” meme, used in the exact same way as our Pepe “cope” meme. Thinking about this evolutionarily it means that the concept of “someone in denial so much it is identical with being on a drug” is readily present in our biology. And that is not a simple concept either.

Your sincere struggle to peel back the layers of our individual and shared narratives to reveal deeper truth is inspiring. If everyone shared your commitment to truth-seeking, we'd be on a path to a more self-aware and compassionate society. In other words, I want your memes to take root in other minds as they have my own.
May my like and comment boost the accessibility of this meme signal 📡

Nah. I think the Dark Knight’s Joker is the most memetically fit. He hits that sweet spot where most people understand it

I don’t know if you read comments but I have some thoughts. First I would say I enjoyed this video and think you’re on to something with Archetypal Memetics. My one contention would be your strict aversion to ideology wholesale. There have been cases in which ideological thinking led to outcomes that people have broadly found beneficial. Basically, how do you explain progress. It took ideological thinking to move from feudalism to capitalism, a certain narrative positioning the common people against the aristocracy. My explanation as a leftist comes out of a Hegelian and Marxist analysis. In my view human progress and emancipation happens when formerly categorically exploited groups struggle toward the elimination of their own category and push to reveal new universalisms. In the case of feudalism it was the common classes fighting to remove the category of commoner in favor of enlightenment universalism such as “all men are created equal”. This is why i think it’s worth being more politically oriented than an enlightened centrist because it’s possible one side has a better analysis of the vector along which emancipatory struggle should be oriented. For example fascists struggles don’t seem to actually free anyone. Ok that’s all, I enjoyed the video and clearly it inspired me to type out my thoughts so good work!

You're onto something. You should look into how archetypes relate to big five personality traits and Johnathan Haidt's work. Consider this an "Archetypal theory of everything".
