APC Back-ups CS 650 beeping every 2 seconds

My UPS has been offline during a move and now it beeps like this :(

I had the same problem. I opened the UPS, disconnected the battery, gave it a stern look and then connected it again. Solved the problem.

My battery was stolen and I don't know the battery size or voltage of it in order to replace so I need help

i had the same problem i change the battery and it did not cure so snipped the buzzer of the pcb .apart from no sound it works just fine

My identical ups did the same with new battery. Problem was one broken capacitor in the main board, next to two 40Amp fuses. It was easy to change and cost virtually nothing!

I have the same model which performs the same beeps without the battery inserted, yours has battery issues

I get this all the time on mine at work and it has just had a brand new battery installed (which was purchased direct from APC themselves), it's really irritating.

Other than this (annoying) beeping it all works fine though - pull the power cord out and I get ~20 minutes run time.

His happends in two conditions 1 replace the battery if continue happeing 2 replace one capacitator:

Typical fault, dry capacitor C26 470uF 105C (replace and put in far away from heat)

Mine does the "replace battery" beeps.. Since before and after I changed the battery.. But doesn't beep as often as in the video (much less.. 40/50 times a day.. Or so maybe). What do you suggest? Is it the capacitor anyways? Any video of the right capacitor to substitute? Thanks
