was on the flight test program for the 747 back in 1969, what a grand plane, had 5 to test in parralel to finish in one year certification. Flew with it once fown to NM for landing gear and brake testing. Land 3 times full load, no flare, no thrust reversers, immediate take off, full panic stop. Wing flap like a bird on t hat one.

They will go down in history as the plane that opened up travel too the average person my first trip to America in 97 was on 747 i still remember getting on and looking at its sheer length and thinking oh hell how is this going to get of the ground, the most amazing plane in my life time
