Casio F-84W

A short follow-up video to my earlier review of Casio's three-button digital watches. This video specifically focused on the F-84W-1.

The F84W is really a true hidden gem. It has that JDM coolness about it and it’s not popular enough to really be “ruined”. The fact that most people wearing this are just ordinary people in Japan kind of adds to the cool factor.

I also think the design and quality is better. Not massively better, but you’ll definitely notice it if you’ve worn both.

I have an F84W that was my dads from the late 80s. Just ordered a new strap for it as the old one broke, but it's a sweet watch.

Thank you for making this. I found this really interesting. One thing about the F-84W is that its modeled after the older F-15 (which didn't have buttons, hence the smooth sides)

Love Mine, I purchased mine on Amazon just over a year ago and it was just over $20 and I received mine in about 2 Weeks. It's a Sweet Little Gem by Casio. Very clean little watch

F91W actually came out in 1989 - it can be found in Argos catalogues from that period.

Thanks for doing this video. I still stand by my opinion that the 84 is a straight up nicer design (vs. the 91). Feels silly to say when they're so similar -- tried to explain it to a mate of mine and he thought I was mad -- but it just is.

Big fan love the name of your channel it says all lreally need to know-you’re for REAL !! I don’t know why some commenters would think the F-84 is a fake-that’s weird thinking l prefer the F-84 over the standard version of the F-91W it’s not visually interesting to me the use colour on the dial of F-84 is subtle and interesting there are other F-91W’s that l really love but that blue bordered version is very boring thanx for you channel-more power to you, my friend! This video makes me think why the F-91W is famous and the F-84W is not. Aside from the fact that the 84W is JDM. I mean, being JDM didn't stop enthusiasts to get the GW-400 G-Shock. It's nice to see you've got the uncommon gold version of the A158.

I’m a Casio fanatic, too many to mention, but I didn’t know that the 84 existed lol. Shows what I know lol. I’m ordering one off eBay now... my only worry is that they have as many versions as the 91... my wife is going to kill me haha Thanks for another awesome video

I’m the fastest new banker at the casino all thanks to this watch for allowing me to tell time and move chips quickly and calculate bonuses. I also noticed this watch to never lose time compared to the Illuminator Casio that I had.

As far as cars go, Japan produces domestic market cars because they fill a niche in their market. It's probably sensible to make subcompact minivans or SUVs considering Japanese roads are often very narrow, but it doesn't make sense for manufacturers to invest in modifying and manufacturing those same cars for the American market. It could be the same case for the watch. Perhaps Japanese people have smaller wrists so they produce a watch with a smaller watch face?

I don't understand why that If its exclusively for the Japanese market. Why is the text on the display English? When all the text on the packaging & instructions is Japanese!
