To clear things up: The dogs were all found and safe. The dogwalker is expected to make a full recovery. Lady Gaga is paying for all of his medical expenses and the dogwalker is excited to see the dogs again when he gets out of the hospital. The criminals are still at large.

Funny how the news focused on the dogs when the dog walker was in critical condition. Didn't even know his name before the dogs names.

Being a dog walker is usually fun but it can turn serious in a moment. We are out there with the dogs and occasionally one can feel quite vulnerable. I'm happy to hear that the dog walker is making a recovery and that the dogs were recovered.

I've seen some really nasty comments elsewhere about this aimed at Lady Gaga (your standard celebrity hate type).

But I feel so bad for both the dogs, and the poor guy who was shot and nearly killed.

Kind of still trying to wrap my head around a man being shot in order to steal someone’s dog. They really had to go for attempted murder?

Thank goodness he’s recovering and will be okay. Apparently the dogs are safe as well, also a big relief. I hope the criminals are found and brought to justice.
