Hey mate, I'm 22 and recently moved to Port Mac. I've been fishing most of my life, only using bait and only ever catching the barely legal bream, flatty, whiting and blackfish. Ive only used bait because I've never really known about or asked about lures. Any tips for catching bigger and a wider range of fish in the port area. I also have a boat, if that helps.

Nice fish mate, but not sure if you understand that any Bream that is over 40 cm in length is a female and likely to be anywhere from 30 to 40 years old. These fish should always be released as they represent the breeding stock of the species and will only lead to reducing the number of Bream if routinely kept.
