TikTok Affiliate Shops Banned After Signing Up As A Seller | What To Do Now |

I have gotten so many messages about tiktok banning and suspending new accounts so lets cover the WHY and lets what next steps should be

It's bullsh1t. I created the shop, for the 1st time, brand new and LESS than 5 minutes later, I got a violation. This has happened 2x in 2 days. I didn't have a chance to do ANYTHING with the account. Within 5 minutes of OPENING the shop, they gave me a violation. Thank you for explaining this, because they SERIOUSLY messed up. Who will want to deal with them now? They should have screened for the product(s) they were having an issue with, not arbitrarily shut shops down within minutes of them being opened. I've been in IT over 30 years and whoever did that algorithm does NOT know what they're doing and should be fired.

Basically, get 5000 followers to be safe because TikTok has gone overboard with policing.

Things to consider when doing the work around..
1) ppl are getting shut down within minutes to hours of being accepted. Even a legit seller might not have enough time to get a video up so that theory’s flawed.

2) ppl are getting banned from ever having a shop after doing this. Not worth it.

3) ppl are reporting having actually talked to TT reps who are saying they are shutting down shops that opened because they did the work around.
It’s so bad out there that ppl are demanding that those that are promoting this work around need to delete their videos and/or make videos exposing how this is not working and is creating havoc.

Having said all this I will say I created a new account, did the work around, never posted a single video and after 3 days unlinked and deleted before TT found me. I’ll just work on getting 5K followers and do it the right way.

This happened to me right after I got my shop set up. I woke up in the morning to a notice that my shop was permanently suspended. I got on the live chat, and they didn't know why it happened. My shop was reinstated immediately.

Tik Tok with all this is not worth it, holding your funds, that is not good. Too much going on with Tik Tok behind the scenes just a big headache.

This was so helpful. I have had my seller account for like 3 weeks and right after I finally decide what POD to sell on my tik tok shop i get this email. Luckily, I have not made a sell yet. Just submitted my ticket let’s cross our fingers🤞🏽

i also was approved after hours at it and the back and forth with verifications and delayed emails from tiktok. whew it was definitely challenging but i cant give up.

Interesting as a male to hear "Hey Sis!" at the beginning, lol. Great vids. Learning about TTS and TT in general. I had some interest because I started a trivia channel and lasted... 2 days before becoming permanently banned with zero warnings on TT despite TT saying that they give warnings... and basically doing all the videos myself... with an AI assist for a question or two. Can't wait to see the nuggets in the video.

When I go to add a product to my showcase it doesn’t appear in my TikTok shop. Is anyone else having this issue? I’m in absolute tears. I keep seeing life just pass me by. I just feel TikTok is upset this has lifted some people out of debt and poverty. That’s all I want. I’m so tired of these low wages and rude coworkers and management. It’s all just building and building and I thought this would be my way out. I’m running out of steam god.

I literally applied as a business then hit appeal and said I literally just opened this. They corrected it in like 1 minute.

This happened to me. Following your other videos. I signed up, got approved within minutes then later on got a violation notice...I haven't even done anything after coming up with a name for my shop. nothing set up so I'm confused.

Thank you so much. Crystal is exactly what happened to me the first time they close my first shop with a different account and then I opened this one under separate a different phone number. TikTok is crazy and I’m a schoolteacher I need my account.

First you are awesome thank you for dropping these videos quickly, can you do a video on how to add products to start selling (i have add to storefront but waiting on approval) if approval is needed to start advertising a product? and how to set up to receive commission.

Don’t know if this will help. In less than five hours of receiving the notice, I attempted to appeal it, but unfortunately, it wasn't approved. Determined to resolve the issue, I delved deeper into the process. Turning my attention to the business section of the form, I selected 'individual' and diligently filled out a W9 form. It proved to be the key to restoring my account status to good standing.

My shop was banned because it was “inactive” I didn’t even know it had to be active 🥺 I wish I can get my shop reinstated but unfortunately the decision can’t be appealed.
