We had this task in music class to play whatever song we wanted but I had to be from this channel. Me being the person who loves the Wii for some reason decided to play this whilst the rest of my class were playing Christmas songs (it's was near cristmas). My teacher chose me last thinking I was going to be playing a Christmas song and I started to play this, my class went nuts and my teacher looked at me on utter shock as I'm a person who just would do anything extra 😂

Hey!! For any new piano player, I’ve got a trick to help play different things on different hands! I used to have this problem and it annoyed the crap out of me because both hands were easy but I couldn’t put them together.
So something you can do is take an easy song that you know the melody to (I used Mary had a little lamb), and begin playing it on one hand. After a measure on one hand begin the song with the other hand while still continuing the song with the first hand. It might be kind of tricky at first, but you’ll be able to get it eventually.
When you’ve got that down, try switching hands or starting the second melody a half measure later. And then try it with different songs!
This isn’t a perfect fix, but it definitely helped me be able to separate my hands while playing, and I hope it can help you! If not, that’s okay, keep trying! You’ll never get better at something if you don’t work on it. :)
