Great video, thanks. This might be my favourite Nils Frahm album. He's really exploring the possibilities of his fancy new recording studio. As BrakaPDub commented, Erased Tapes is a wonderful label for this kind of music. Definitely worth checking out their other artists. Cheers. Mark.

I loooove Nils, he's playing in my city, Munich, in April but he sold out before I could realise :( hope I'll get more chances to see him live soon

By the way, the piano he used in the song "my friend the forest" is a special piano called una corda, built by David Klavins.

Nils frahm is awesome, this album sounds to be in the running for his best from what im hearing so far. I hope i win this contest. That'd be awesome, will wait and see.

Tip on sleeve basically has a developed shiny photograph which would be pasted onto the main cover, whereas for the standard edition the photo on the cover is just printed out as part of the rest of the sleeve

Love your reviews and enthusiasm, as always. That said, I can only tolerate or enjoy this kind of atmospheric stuff in small doses, like Radiohead has used sparingly in the past, within or between other more conventionally structured songs. But that's just my opinion. Rock on brother!
