Don’t get me wrong, Sgt Pepper is cool and all. But Revolver, not just in terms of sound, but artwork-wise, blows my mind. It still looks ahead of its time as it did when it first came out.

Nice zoom in on Klaus's cover cameo. When I first spotted it as a kid, I thought it was the late, lamented Stu Sutcliffe, who would have known Klaus in Hamburg, but it would be years before I'd actually see a photo of Klaus and realize it was actually him.

This needs to be expanded on for a regular episode. Best album of all time and The Beatles’ most compelling sleeve ever.

Klaus’s book on this is so much fun to read.

In 1966 one of the prefects in school brought this new album to the dining table. As we kids saw it, there was so much excitement.

Revolver album and Cover are my favorite. It inspired and influenced me with my own artwork in high-school. IMHO, there are only a handful of albums you can listen to from beginning to end, each and every song, and REVOLVER tops my list.

He couldn't get George's eyes right so he cut out pictures of George's real eyes and put them on

The photograph at about 10secs is from after Feb 1967 because it shows his design for the cover of Bee Gees 1st

The one we know today is not the first or only presented to beatles, the first one was rejected by Paul because there was a cut out of him sitting on a toilet, so Klaus had to recut it. The whole story is presented in Klaus' book "the birth of an Icon - Revolver 50".

One of the first Beatles-related videos I watched after The Beatles Anthology premiered was The Compleat Beatles documentary, and I thought that the trippy way its producers showcased the Revolver cover in unison with Tomorrow Never Knows was effectively memorable.

We do know that Joe is Ringo's brother-in-law, right? He's married to Barbara's sister.

That would be so cool to be asked that out of John oh my God I'd be so tickled to be asked to creat artwork for an album for The Beatles wow!💯❤️

How about do a deconstruction on the Revolver album cover?

In an interview with Klaus on The Vinyl Guide podcast, Klaus said that what Joe Walsh has is not the original, hand-assembled artwork.
