Unleashing The Smoke Ninja: Portrait Photography Magic!

In this video I review the Studio Ninja fog machine, a fantastic portable smoke machine for portrait photography.

The Smoke Ninja has three settings; fog, steam and dry ice and in this video I show you each of these functions as well as taking you behind the scenes on a portrait shoot where you can see me using the Smoke Ninja for the first time.

If you want to create smoke easily and quickly, and be able to control the smoke well, then the Smoke Ninja is a fantastic tool.

All the photographs in this video were taken on the Nikon Z8 camera using the Nikkor 85mm f1.2 and Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 lenses. The Nikon Z8 is a mirrorless camera with a 45mp stacked CMOS sensor, an EXPEED 7 processor and a fully electronic shutter.

I shoot the bride in both natural light and also use off camera flash, using the MagMod MagSphere and MagGrid.

Aren't they a lot of fun Neil? I've not really had a proper session with my version yet, other than a brief outdoor test (NB, still days required!) So it's wonderful to see what they can do in the hands of a master!

What's the maximum burst time and how soon from that time can I use it again? I'm assuming it has to recycle?
Also is it odorless and will it make you cough?

Thanks Neil....Between this and the bubble gun you've cost me nearly €400 this week alone 😠 Unsubscribe 🤣 Didn't get to use the bubbles yet but this is a great little machine. Used it today but it was in the outside smoking area of a bar so the breeze was blowing and dissipating the smoke a bit too much. Still got a few usable shots though - more than I would have done with the pellets. Love the Dry Ice mode as well. Very impressed so far.
