Insurance Institute for Highway Safety smashed in 18 different SUVs for safety testing

SUVs are some of the most popular cars on the road right now, so a test of how well the cars protect passengers was conducted. The IIHS will soon perform side crash tests on other vehicles, including sedans, to see how they handle the impact.
