The citizens of the United States elected Biden and now we're getting what we deserve. The city of Eastpointe, Michigan elected Monique Owens and now they're getting what they deserve.

If nothing else that raging, out-of-control, lunatic of a Mayor certainly shone a light on the few council members still making an effort to serve its residents with honor, courage, respect, patience, fairness and empathy. And God bless them for it. We need more leaders like you. I'm sure I'm not the only person who noticed either. Thank you for caring ❤

The mayor is only responsible for the Robert’s Rules of Order decorum is followed. That’s it. Only the order. If the position has had more authority than that, we need it changed. Highly dysfunctional in towns that function otherwise. Look to Leon Valley Texas for that disaster.

Can’t this city get a clock/timer to show speakers their time so they aren’t interrupted regularly to be informed there is 30 seconds remaining?

It’s so rude and made at least one citizen respond as though it were the end of his time and walk away from the podium.

Maybe even ring a bell to signify 30 seconds. Anything would be better than the current set up.

The first amendment does not give you the right to free speech. The 1st amendment recognizes your right to free speech.
There is a tremendous difference.

When is the next meeting with Monique?? I got lots of popcorn and plan on inviting friends over to watch the humiliation she brings upon herself. Watching that video of her look like a fool was better than any comedy show I have ever seen! More Monique More!!! She makes pathetic enjoyable!! Love you MoMo!!

I love the idea that the gentleman brought up that about the council notifying residents and businesses regarding new businesses coming into town. Great idea! Let the people know and speak. Good thoughts!

I hope the citizens vote your mayor out, her behavior towards the citizens she serves is disrespectful. People like Monique dont belong in office.
