Hi Scott, I'm a big fan of your channel.
Here is a tip you may or may not know.
I have been using the B-Beat for a while now, but ever so now and then, the connection from the hotspot to my iPad fails, leaving me in the dark about lyrics and cues in my lyric sheets.
However, I remembered your video about the direct connection via ethernet between a digital mixer and a tablet and lo and behold: this method also works with the B-Beat.
I tried the adapter cable (lightning to ethernet, and USBc to ethernet) and it works like a dream.
Make sure to turn off the WiFi on our tablet when using this method.
Yes, I know. It's not wireless, but rather that than being lost for a few songs because you don't have the lyrics.

Hello from Barcelona. As interesting as it gets, and you have this pedagogical flair which I like so much. And your no-nonsense attitude, straight to the point. I like this B-Beat and I think it is fairly priced, but I think I'll stick to my Mac with MainStage and XR-18 for the time being. My only problem lies with the use of sync videos, which I run with another computer and just hope it works...

Hey Scott. Love the videos! We are having trouble getting the b beat to send out midi commands. Have teh DMX Operator 384 and tried making midi tracks with Logic Pro as you have shown in the video. It seems like the b beat isnt sending any notes to the DMX controller. I have it all setup and we have been using midi commands with stag traxx 3 successfully so We are at a little of a loss.

Great video. I was looking for something like this 18 months ago, ended up using a laptop and MainStage.
Scott, are the outputs balanced (I ask because on Thomann it says 6.3mm balanced - mono jack - balanced is TRS)? I'm thinking for a theatre PA I might need to inferface with DI boxes in a rack?
