Given her filmography, Anya Taylor Joy’s idea of success doesn’t align with Grace’s, which is fine. She’s not interested in being the next blockbuster darling, but to be in high quality, thriller/horror smaller and independent films.

When the first Avatar movie was released, there were both Sherlock Holmes and Chipmunks 2 and all three movies were box office hits, so I’m a bit surprised that there are no alternative movies playing alongside Avatar 2.

- I think holding Wonka until next year is actually a really smart move. I don't think it would be good for either brand to see Timothée Chalamet as a chain-smoking cannibal and then a quirky chocolatier a few weeks later. It would be like if Emily Blunt had been promoting Girl on the Train and Mary Poppins Returns at the same time (Mary Poppins is an alcoholic that rides public transit?!).

Hey Grace. Went to see Violent Night (such a great movie) and while in line for concessions struck up a convo with a couple girls and we all said the same thing. Pre Pandemic we were weekly or every other weekly movie goers, but now, we hate humans, and feel going TO the movies is only for something we REALLY want to see where before it was for anything we may be interested in. I'd go see movies I KNEW would be bad because I LOVED going to the movies, Now....I watch my money a bit more. I may get back into the habit as I think M3GAN might be good. But for the most part I only go to the movies ONCE a month if even.

Anya Taylor-Joy is being properly cared for by her team, that's why they're putting her in small, interesting films. She has talent and glamor beyond more mainstream talent. She was the best part of New Mutants, so I seriously hope that her superhero return is as Magick in the X-Men. The Menu was interesting, a short movie with an interesting premise and great performances.

kind of sucks how the conversation around this film won’t be for it’s technical achievements or about the expansion of the world of pandora, but about how much money this movie will make when none of the people talking about it have a financial investment in fox/disney. still looking forward to another amazing james cameron film after all these years

I saw no reason to see Wakanda Forever twice. The Wakanda parts were good. The feed Disney+ stuff dragged the movie down and made it not worth watching a second time.

I just watched Puss in Boots 2 and it was so I hope it does decently at the box office for the very least.
