The crouching one used to be true, because as you crouched and went forward, you just had to click Sprint/C/Ctrl once, and press W. I almost died when they removed it.

Actually, Myth 7 used to be true, back before a certain update it used to force you to crouch during the Seek Chase, but for some players it made them a little quicker and ran into stuff causing them to die in their run. That got changed after an update and once it began getting more popular.

4:55 This used to be true, because before a certain update to the Seek chase, the game would initiate and animation when you got close enough to the objects, and if you used hacks to disable the animation you would not be able to crouch under the objects. The objects were made slightly smaller and they removed the animation so you had to crouch under.

Fact: you can actually beat level 50 without getting all 8 books, since there is only five shapes and digits in the code. You’ll need to be lucky for that, but otherwise, at best you might have 6 or 7.

with Myth #3, while it is busted, we're moreso speaking within the normal parameters of the games experience, so technically, without going back into the room and hiding in order to break the rules of the game, it is *technically* true that you can never touch Seek.

with Myth #7, the game actually used to automatically initiate an animation to crouch under the fallen bookshelves for you, but was removed in a semi-recent update specifically for people with bad/slow internet.

5:12 this was an old feature that was removed, so when doors first came out, you were able to do this but it got a small update so now you have to manualy sneak

One thing I noticed, I can hide from figure if he is slow by going on top of the non-usable stairway with rubble. For some reason, he can't go up those stairs, and when he tries, he runs up only to ignore you after going near the stairs. One thing to mention though is that you need to be the farthest away from him possible, as being even so much as a stud or two closer gives him the opportunity to grab you (learned this the hard way).

5:24 at older verisons of the game. It would actually automatically crouch for you, but it would make you a little slower making the seek chase harder. I recommend watching old seek chase videos if u don't believe me

A couple glitches I noticed is that if you do the seek glitch, then you're left behind and glitch himself teleports you back, then you'll remain the speed of when you were being chased & that at one random point the seek room effect gone for another room (red outside, the black and red on the walls, red lights)

Another thing abt the halt one, you actually only need to take I'd say 4 steps backward before halt just makes you go forward again. It might be scary just standing and not moving, but I've never taken damage from Halt using this strat

Fun fact. You used to be able to auto crouch. It was after the update that’s changed it. It took me mega off guard when they changed it.
