I can see why they liked Slafkovsky. He's got a great attitude, and he's an absolute monster. It'll will be exciting to watch the top 4 picks from this year duke it out.

Look at Kent Hughes watching Slafkovsky, this dude looks like he's got stars in his eyes, he's so happy 🤩

As a Slovak I naturally cheer for our guys (Slaf, Nemec, Mesar, etc.) but Logan Cooley seems such a likeable guy too - very humble and down to Earth. I hope he has a great career as well.

Slafs is both a freaking monster and the most wholesome kid ever, I look forward to seeing this kid grow in a Habs jersey.

looks like Nemec stole the show. The TV directors were so sure that it was Wright, Slafkovsky and Cooley at first three they didnt even interview Nemec at all.

I initially thought that Wright was pissed about MTL skipping him with the 1st overall but it seems like Arizona skipping him for another center in Cooley really was the thing that got under his skin

Cooley's reaction when Montreal made their pick was literally everybody. Dude seems like a bright star in the making as well. Happy Arizona isnt in the Pacific anymore.

Even the way Slafkovsky carries himself. You can tell, the accomplishments are already there. The confidence permeates. No nervousness.

As a habs fan I hope Wright has a great career!
I'm happy with Slaf but I'm not sure why all the hate toward the guy, he looks like a great dude

Habs fans definitely contributed to how Wright has acted all this time. Going to his games rooting for him, telling him 1st OA's in the bag, welcoming him to Montreal way before the draft. It basically got to his head. But with that said, I think Seattle is a good fit for him. No pressure at all.

The Canadiens really went from the Finals to the 1st overall pick in one season

I know a lot of teams have their own thing but the NHL really needs an F1 Drive To Survive style documentary show.

That was the best 46 minutes of viewing of a documentary I have had the pleasure to watch. Well done!!!

The NHL does well to produce this sort of content, very enjoyable! Wish there was more available for other sports like Basketball/Baseball!

As a Canucks fan, I'm gonna be circling the calendar for every Kraken game cuz seeing Wright and Beniers is going to be fun! I didn't know much about Cooley until the draft and I can totally see why teams liked him. He's got great character on top of his skill and work ethic! Happy for all of the players that got drafted :)

I agree 100% with Shane Wright’s father. It doesn’t matter when you are drafted. It is where you go (Seattle is a GREAT organization and a GREAT fit for him without the additional pressure of playing in Montreal), and what you do with the opportunity. Wayne Gretzky wasn’t even drafted and look what he did. Cale Makar was taken fourth in 2017, and Makar just won the Conn Smythe trophy and the Stanley Cup. In my opinion, if Shane Wright takes full advantage of this opportunity and continues to develop, Wright’s upside NHL potential is tremendous. Seattle will give him every tool imaginable to succeed. The rest is up to him.

I never thought or saw how much Bettman does on the stafe, taking the players jackets, making sure they look at the caamera when they put the shirts on.It's small details, but it's amazing to see him do it himself, not simply get someone else to do it

Well done on that piece editor's, filmers & production. That was a fun draft. Have to say I'm glad my team(LA) picked later in the draft. I'll take Playoffs & Fiala all day long!!!!

I'm glad that the Habs picked Slafkovsky at 1st, but I hope that every kid picked after him does well in the league. More good picks = better show on the ice 🤘
