The two-Body Wave Energy Converter (WEC) absorbs the sea wave energy and generates electricity. The two bodies absorb the kinetic energy of waves and transmit it to the Power Take-off System (PTO). The absorbed kinetic energy is eventually delivered to the generator and converted to electrical energy.

Actually, up and down motion seen in waves, can be created at will inform flowing water. Please observe the small waves created in a commode when flushed. By scaling this up suitably and attaching to the mains supply to supply water intermittently, the wave size can be controlled suitably, to produce power as and when required.
