Army Men: World War is an isometric combat tactical game made by 3DO Studios in 2000. It is the eighth installment in the Army Men series. This game is starkly different in terms of storyline to the previous isometrical games. In this game, there is no central "Sarge" character. Instead, you take control over a small group of faceless green soldiers, each of which you can take direct control over, and guide them through various battle scenarios. This game, unlike any of the previous games, takes itself extremely seriously. There's a very grim tone and borderline realism to the atmosphere as you once more pit your courageous Green soldiers against the Tan menace. This is going to be the last PC game that I play for a while, since from here on out 3DO was more interested in pumping out console games instead...
