Wow that painting tells so many stories. The history is fantastic. That is one reason I love art so much- the stories behind the paintings are outstanding. Caravaggio has to be my favorite from that time period though just because his personal story is absolutely bonkers. That said, I loved the colors and detail, its sometimes hard to imagine such a painting was brought to life hundreds of years ago yet the colors are so vivid and still tell such a deep story. Fantastic work Sounds Curious! This was lovely.

Very nicely done - excellent choice of painting.I enjoyed this very much!  I cannot help thinking that those are not cherries, but possible apples - crab apples - and in medieval texts, an apple sprig represents charming deceit...
