Here's me unboxing the Kodak SP360 360-degree video camera. This is an action camera (sorta like GoPro Hero) but does 360-degree videos in 1080P 30FPS.

The Ricoh Theta S is probably the best right now that gives you a full... I mean FULL 360 degree photo/video, but yeah, the HD (1080p) quality is reduced to VHS (maybe less) quality, but it's not $15, 000.00 and you dont have to learn complex stitching software. I think Kodak is releasing soon a 4k version and new software the will stitch together 2 PixPro cameras so you will get the full 360 effect, and I guess, better quality like the more expensive method; I can't wait to see what Ricoh does next.

I bought a pair of these from directly from the manufacturer. Most of the accessories I received with it were for the wrong version of the camera even though the invoice stated the correct version. They shipped the correct items overnight to me which was great! But one of the my cameras i noticed was constantly shooting blurry and with a red hue. I sent it back for replacement under the influence that the new one was going to be sent overnight….but it wasn’t instead it was ground shipping. Here in Canada i had to wait an extra 2 weeks for it to clear customs the first time….don’t know how long it will take the second time around.

I would not recommend buying this camera from outside of Canada. Wait for it to appear here before so you don’t end up going through the issues i did by received wrong accessories and faulty camera only to have to wait weeks for a replacement.

can i add a label on the monuments that i pass by it.
If i am recording a historic place and i need to put a label on things around me, is the camera PC software allows me to do so?

records half a dome. 2 can be made to work for full dome. I'm looking at this for VR.

Most 360 cameras dont give you full 360 shpere but they do give you at least 180 vertical and 360 hroizontal so it is 360 around but not spehircally. So you can see panaromically all around but no one lens is going to give you a total 360 degree sphere you need at least two lenses for that. or more.
