The Shelby Lady Whippets remained unbeaten and took a big step towards its fourth-consecutive conference championship handling Clear Fork 78-48.
The Lady Whippets (11-0, 6-0) started off on a 10-0 run and never looked back as three players scored 16+ points while two more added seven each in a balanced attack while the Lady Colts (10-2, 4-2) didn't record its first field goal until late in the opening quarter.
Shelby was led by Sophia Niese, who scored a game-high 20 points as the Lady Colts hit the midway point of the season unblemished ahead of another big matchup with unbeaten Buckeye Central on Janurary 4th.
