Ok here's the trick. I do beachy waves with the straightener. I don't have a video and since I cut my hair I can't really make one. Or maybe I'll use my daughters hair to demonstrate. Anyway you start at the top of the hair and bend the hair around the edge of the straightener then stop before you get to the bottom, leave the last 1.5 to 2 inches un-bent, as it were. The way we used to do it adds too much heat at the bottom, and not enough at the top so the bottom is very curly where the top hardly gets any. Does that make sense?
