How I use a curling wand to curl my hair

Yes, you need to hold it and let it cool off after the heat for it to hold the shape. The heat only makes the hair malleable so you can change the shape, but the cooling is what sets it into the new shape. Whenever I do my bangs (no curler, just good old round brush and hair dryer lol) I use it hot and at the last moments use some cold air. My band stay bouncy and hold thir shape for days! (like, two, to be precise, my hair isn't that miraculous lol)
