KANSAS BEATS TEXAS... IN FOOTBALL

Kansas beat Texas in one of the most shocking results of the 2021 college football season on Saturday. Texas forced the game to go to overtime by scoring a long touchdown with just 20 seconds left to tie the game at 49-49. In overtime, Texas scored a touchdown to go up 56-49 but Kansas responded with a touchdown of their own to make it 56-55. Then Kansas decided to go for two and converted, giving them an absolutely stunning 57-56 victory over Texas in Austin. With the win, Kansas snaps a 52 game losing streak against Big 12 teams on the road. Unbelievable.

Lance Leipold is the right guy to rebuild this Kansas program. This win is significant not only for this season, but for the future of this program. They have some talent there in Lawrence, they just got to be more disciplined and told how to win games the right way. This is a stepping stone in the right direction for this program to find a way out of the doormat area. This is coming from a Kansas State fan and I truly want Kansas to be better and be a respectable program within the Big 12. This was a truly beautiful game to watch, and many great things are coming for the Jayhawks in the years to come.
