Really enjoyed your tutorial, the only thing I wish you had done differently would be to leverage the testability of angularjs (perhaps even following a TDD approach)

19:05 Note that after updating GetTodoItems in the TodoController, you'll need to rebuild the solution before sorting will work. That one stumped me.

There maybe more complex sql statements that refined what the result object looks like. Its a good way to introduce that challenge.

You could have done sorting completely on client side using orderBy filter, on each header ng-click set the $scope.sort var to fieldname and in orderBy use sort.
