In this lecture, detail of reactor (inductor) calculations are made which is to be attached at the end of the line when there is voltage rise in the long transmission lines. Moreover, a tutorial is presented to further explain the calculations of inductor rating and reactance value.

Thanks for the great presentation, but I have a question. In many references, hyperbolic trigonometric functions are used to represent the generalized model of a transmission line. Why are you using basic trigonometric functions (sine cosine).
