2022 Baic BJ40 PLUS in-depth Walkaround Interior & Exterior

The Beijing BJ40 is an off-road vehicle produced by BAIC Motor. Originally branded directly as a BAIC product, the vehicle series was rebadged under the Beijing brand

The appearance of the new car uses the exclusive moon rock silver and dark moon black two colors and adds a multi-functional luggage rack, a more refined spare tire backpack, a new front and rear bumper, a new style of the middle net, and a front and rear are blackened. Lights, join 20-inch forged wheels with 275/55 R20 large-size all-terrain tires.

Only black and the white color matching interior is used in the interior, and Alcantara leather is added. The car system uses the intelligent interactive UI interface newly designed by the Chaoji team, and the speaker unit + subwoofer is upgraded to bring Hi-Fi music enjoyment.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 220-horsepower 2.0T turbocharged engine, which is matched with a ZF 8AT gearbox. The new car also adds a K-MAN nitrogen shock absorber to minimize the impact of extreme road conditions on the body and improve dynamic balance. And passability, the new car is also equipped with an electronically controlled time-sharing four-wheel drive system.

That's a great looking off-roader. I was curious when I saw the title since the old Toyota Land Cruisers, when equipped with the diesel motors, had the BJ- designation as opposed to the gas versions, which were the more popular FJ-; of course, the 2-door versions were BJ-40 and FJ-40 and later, when the 4-door came out, it was either BJ- or FJ-55... The boxy look of this vehicle is actually reminiscent of the 55-series Land Cruisers. They were great vehicles. I would LOVE to see these in the USA! I'd definitely consider getting one- think my only concern would be the relatively small tires.

Es innegable su copia a la Jeep Rubicon, pero tampoco se puede negar su impresionante forma, hay elementos que aún no me convencen además de la falta de tecnología y detallidos en la segunda fila de asientos, además de la calidad de los materiales en el baúl, que se veía algo tosco, por lo demás se ve fenomenal, saludos desde Colombia, acá no creo que llegue por ahora.
