When I was a kid in NYC my mom would give my sister and I a quarter each and we would walk to the pizza place and get a slice and a soda each. 15 cents for the slice and 10 cents for the soda.

That’s on 7th avenue and 41st if I remember correctly. There’s always a crowd and they continuously make more pies. It’s not the best pizza you’ll ever have but if you only have $3, it’s a life saver. One of the best spots for my coworkers and I when we worked in Times Square
