2005 Motorstorm E3 trailer vs 2022 Desert Dakar Rally | In game vs CGI

In 2005 we were promised these graphics for PS3 Motorstorm. While it ended up being CG and not coming close, I thought it would be fun to compare a similar looking game in Dakar Desert Rally on PS5 17 years later to see how far we have come. Comment below and let us know what you think!

Motorstorm my beloved <3, why is everyone so afraid to make carnage packed racing games that dont have shitty guns and arent over-arcadey, like motorstorm games (except RC, and Apocalypse), flatout 2/UC, burnout paradise, they were top notch racing enjoyment!

We're never getting a game that's comparable to CGI footage. RDR 2 and DriveClub were close though
