Türkiye's Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) achieved a historic milestone last month by completing its first flight from the deck of the TCG Anadolu aircraft carrier. This marks the first successful takeoff and landing of a UAV on a short-runway carrier.
The TB3, with folding wings and a payload capacity of 280 kg, is designed for long-range missions, operating alongside the jet-powered Bayraktar Kızılelma in an innovative unmanned fleet. It boasts a mission radius of 2,200 km and a maximum altitude of 30,000 ft.
