Xiaomi m365 first look at the 500W motor (Monorim ?)

It is been a while since I was filming and probably due to that I messed up big time :) I did not say everything I wanted to say, I lost some footage and in the end, I have burned the m365 controllers' MOSFETs and something else (it is not working after replacing the MOSFETs).
Anyways, I hope some of you will find it useful.

I do not really like the solid tire, would prefer an inflatable one. I am not sure if the motor is a legit Monorim product or not.

I have Xiaomi Pro 1st gen with 13s battery and I have these weird noises at about 34-36 kmh, if I exceed it, the weird noise will disappear. Also is good to have engine braking at minimum current (I have 8A at max).I replaced the mosfets for maybe 10 times just because of strong braking or braking with full battery. Also is good to have another fuse (for example I use car fuses), so if you burn two mosfets, it will go to short circuit and trust me - you really dont want to replace fuse in original battery.
About real currents (measured right from battery):
27A at max - mosfets burned after 80 km and 350W Pro engine gets really hot after 3 km ride.
22A - my current sport mode (13S 54V full charge), did not burn mosfets yet, really powerfull, 42kmh and engine gets hot after about 10km, so it is usable
18A - my current D mode, 37kmh, engine never got really hot
Maybe it will help someone

Finally!! A real scooter mod channel that doesn't try to discourage you from upgrading your scooter.

Hey man i have a question. What happens with regen braking or braking from the motor normally when a series battery is connected to the system? For example 3s. In total 54.6v max charge but can you explain like are the voltages separated or smth? Is there a risk? Im asking for Xiaomi pro 2 model. Appreciate what you are doing and helping the world out there!!

Hey man I currently have a Pro with only stock parts. I am actually not interested in making it go faster than the default 25, but when I ride uphill (even with a full battery) it just seems to lack the power to go faster than about 10, and if the battery isn’t at least at 80% it will stop altogether.

Do you think a 500W motor could fix that? Would I need other modifications such as custom firmware or a different controller as well?

If it could keep powering uphill at a steady >15km/h I would be really happy.

Cheers for the great vid 😄

hi mate good job. if you could answer my questions i would be so happy.

- i bought that engine but i am not seeking for speed. I am about more torque. I have to climb high hill during my journey to my home everday. 350w engine is not enough for that.
* if use it with stock battery (i have xiaomi pro 2 scooter), will it be safe for my controller? I guess stock battery has 40v but engine has 48v?
* ı am not gonna change the firmware, so it can't go faster than 25 kmh?
* Stock battery has 12400 mah, if put 40000 mah instead of stock battery and 40v, can i get more range?
* if i put 48v battery, it will go faster than 25 kmh even if i dont change the firmware?

Thanks mate.

When you say you put the 500W motor with a 12s battery did you use an external 12s and the internal or just a 12s internal? thinking of sticking a 500W on my Pro 2 🤔

I have this motor coming on delivery. It's a 10x125inch wheel. Is this adequate for the m365 as I only realised the size afterwards? I dobt suppose anyone would know?

Hallo i kindly as for your help, i have i pro 2 with 36v 24.4ah ( stock and external ) custom firmware with stock motor 950 watts pick with no problem . I am thinking about the monorim 500 w motor but i dont know what is the safe limit for watts, i ask monorim and i didnt get an answer . Normali with motors tere is the naminal power and pick is x2, is that the case with monorim ? Can i set the pick to 1000 watts or more ? If iis only 1000 will i see a difrence between stock motor to 950 watts and monorim ? Many tnanks in advance . Keep up the good work

I’m looking to add two 36v 500w motors to my hover-1 alpha that I’m customizing. It’s my first build and I’m a bit nervous. Can I run two motors at 36v on the stock battery and just upgrade it with a pack? Or should I upgrade everything and get 48-60v and run dual 48v-60v 500-1000w ? So many choices.

Obviously I’ll have to upgrade the controllers and modify a bit but it’s mostly bolt on and go. Any thoughts?
