Stellar job Vortex! Concise product description and listing PROS and CONS of the TMG. Project is in its infancy stage, but the rate of updates performed and performance is quite impressive. IMHO once initial kinks and bugs are worked out, TMG will gain a considerable share of the laser attenuator market.

The Hi-Fi module is $120 extra.

Wanna know why? I bought 2 sets of quads, and I realized they would send the standard control module with that, unless I ordered it with a hifi setup (which I also wanted) I called ahead and said I was going to place an order for 2 cpus and 8 heads, and a hifi control module, and to please send BOTH the standard and hifi control pads because my friend and I have 2 cars, and we want move the CPUs between the 2 without having to rip out the control pads every time. I even listed them as separate line items in the order (ordered the CPU without the HiFi, then ordered the HiFi. Comes out to the same price, but you'd get the 2 control pads instead of just the one.)

So I called them back to let them know about the problem, and guess what? "there's nothing we can do unless you wanna ship it back to us." (and of course I pay shipping and insure it etc.)

The *next day* that accessory unit cost $119.95 instead of $99.95.

I still use the system, because it's the best, and it's a real shame things had to happen the way they did, but you know what? Since they did, I'd like to dedicate this post to Tom being a cheap, and frankly unethical ****.

" In regards to their product are you talking about the firmware issues or are you referring to when a TMG is shot with DET and the resulting IPT when it's immediately reshot?

About how long do jammers stay up to date?

I've only encoured laser a couple times in years in my area so if these dont stay up to date for a while it would significantly influence my decision to buy one.

Vortex, if the TMG is blue tooth compatible with my phone and I hide the CPU, can I turn off the alarm from the phone or is the blue tooth just for software updates?
