I loved the theme. We used to watch The Persuaders, we never missed an episode, and it made my Sundays special. I was sad when Roger Moore passed, he had always been my favourite. R.I.P to Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. Both great actors.

The late John Barry had an absolutely precious gift for composing theme music . I watched the opening sequence purely to listen to this compelling piece. And, a word about Roger Moore in particular.. That unique ability to raise just one eyebrow!!!! What a gift. He got the James bond gig soon after this. Had to trim down a little bit. I've revised my opinion of him as 007 over the years. His sense of irony and wryness shines through in his depictions. Possibly Britain's most handsome man ever? Has to be up there!!!!

I enjoyed the Persuaders as a kid. For me the theme is a classic haunting piece of music that transcends the show itself. RIP John Barry.
